Educational Philosophy

Green River Dance for Global Somatics courses are an initiation into the intimate mystery of the Natural Body and the subtle energy field. The curriculum is rooted in the core mappings of body systems and developmental movement as it is taught and developed by Certified Body-Mind Centering® Teacher, Suzanne River.

The energy field is explored through Vibrational Aspects™, a curriculum created by Suzanne River.

Global Somatics™ Process requires a radical re-visioning of education and courses at Green River Dance for Global Somatics are a repatterning of traditional schooling. Students are invited to be dynamic participants in the process of a learning community, and each is honored for her/his unique learning style. Students are encouraged to question, play, acquire knowledge and deepen intuition.

GRDGS education applies both the scientific method and creative process to open system of embodiment.
