Global Somatics™ Practitioners are trained for a career in somatic movement education/ therapy, bodywork and energy healing. Placement Services/Employment Assistance Services
GRDGS does not offer placement services but does guide realistic career planning through Professional Competency coursework and builds networking skills. GRDGS offers employment assistance to current students and graduates through a jobs listing bulletin board. Prospective employers are allowed to post openings for somatic educators and body workers and artist grant opportunities on this board. Students and graduates are encouraged to act on these postings.

Registration Laws
Currently, Minnesota does not have a state requirement for bodywork and massage. Massage therapists practice under different legal provisions in nearly every province and state. Licensing requirements and laws vary in cities, counties, towns and villages. Students are informed of the local laws for Minneapolis and St. Paul in the Professional Competency course. Students are expected to contact their local licensing agency to learn their specific laws.
